Sr Sourcing Analyst

Onsite in Mahwah, NJ

Pay Rate: $58.62/hr.

Duration: 6+ mo, Contract, W-2

Job Description:

• Participating in cross functional calls with both internal and external stakeholders
• Reviewing quotes and comparing quoted price vs. standard costs
• Negotiating quotes with suppliers
• Providing periodic updates to leadership team
• Analyzing risks from a sourcing perspective
• Will be working extensively with suppliers as well as various internal stakeholders
• Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of custom engineered products.
• Acquires and maintains understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends and supplier technology road maps.
• Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy and discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds.
• Lead project development and project plans that define scope, timeline, budget, quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations
• This is a highly specialized individual contributor role that requires deep expertise from a professional / technical thought leader in their respective field or discipline.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years' experience in Project Management
• 3+ years' experience in Stakeholder & Supplier Management
• Financial & Cost Modeling (Excel / Advanced Tools) expertise
• Strong Ownership Mindset
• Problem Solving
